Privacy Policy
WIPsheet — a product of BooksCore Group LLC
Effective date: June 26, 2026
1. Who we are
WIPsheet is a construction-accounting application operated by BooksCore Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("BooksCore," "we," "us," "our"). WIPsheet connects to your QuickBooks Online account to generate work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, job costing, retainage tracking, and bonding-ready exports. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. Questions: support@getwipsheet.com
2. Information we collect
a. Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email) through our authentication provider. We never receive or store your QuickBooks or Google password.
b. QuickBooks Online data (read-only). When you connect QuickBooks Online, you authorize WIPsheet to read the following from your company file: customers and projects (mapped to jobs); cost transactions (bills, expenses, journal entries); invoices and billings; basic company information. We use this data solely to compute and display your WIP schedule, job costing, retainage, and related reports and exports. WIPsheet does not write any data back to QuickBooks — the connection is read-only.
c. Connection tokens. To keep your QuickBooks connection active, we store OAuth access and refresh tokens and your QuickBooks company identifier (realmId). These tokens are encrypted at rest.
d. Technical data. We process limited technical data needed to operate the service, such as authentication session cookies. (WIPsheet does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics tracking.)
3. How we use information
We use your information to: provide and operate WIPsheet; sync and compute your WIP schedules, job costing, retainage, and exports; authenticate you and secure your account; communicate with you about the service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or your QuickBooks data, and we do not use your QuickBooks data for advertising.
4. How we share information (service providers)
We share information only with service providers who help us operate WIPsheet, under confidentiality obligations: Intuit (QuickBooks Online API) — the source of your accounting data; Vercel — application hosting (United States); Neon — database hosting / PostgreSQL (United States); Clerk — user authentication; Google — sign-in (only if you choose Google sign-in); Hostinger — business email; Stripe — subscription billing (when paid plans launch). We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in the United States. We encrypt QuickBooks OAuth tokens at rest using AES-256-GCM, transmit data over TLS, and never log access tokens. Access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we protect your information using industry-standard measures.
6. Data retention and deletion
You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings; on disconnect, we revoke and delete the stored connection tokens for that company. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data and synced QuickBooks data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal obligations.
7. Your rights and choices
You may access, correct, or delete your account information, disconnect QuickBooks, or request deletion of your data by contacting support@getwipsheet.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
8. Intuit / QuickBooks
WIPsheet's access, use, and transfer of information received from the QuickBooks Online API adhere to the Intuit Developer Terms and applicable Intuit policies. We request only the read-only access needed to produce your WIP reports.
9. Children's privacy
WIPsheet is a business tool not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify you.
